Leaching Services

ESP USA uses its unique and proprietary processes to remove the non-diamond phase in the PDC. This process is called leaching.

Our process involves using a non-coventional method, which has a vigorous reaction. We have developed our own special tooling to effectively protect the carbide substrate of the cutters during leaching. This will prevent cutter losses or impairment of cutter properties. 

We are able to be more effective in removing most of the catalytic material from the polycrystalline diamond. We categorize this as the "cleanliness" of the cutters after leaching.
